new son seems cool. lots of new stuff i need to explore but i will miss the old son, i was used to it. and i dont like change! LOL
no you cant change them yourself but Josh and I will work on a skin change to make it darker with more contrast for all of the Canadian forums in teh future.
right now we’re focusing on the user account issues and then some other stuff then we’ll get to that.

The main page (where it shows all the forums) could use some cleaning up as I think the icons are too big and some other little things. But overall I think the new SON is much better than the old one.
Btw I don’t ever post, but I do drop by every once in a while just to read up…
Old Son, i never ever used any of the other forums, cept toronto Nissan but thats a bust now, and it was more simplistic and straight to the point
True that… but, will things ever get “up to speed”? SON is so incredibly slow now. I mean it was sometimes slow with the old site, but now it is slow every time I click something.
so, old for now, new when things speed up and all this new stuff your talking about happens.
i’ve found the speed to be quite good actually.
The main (home) page does take longer to load than the other pages, but everything else is quite snappy. If you don’t want to read the home page bookmark the ‘forum’ or ‘what’s new’ pages.
