took the cam out yesterday, WOW is all i have to say, i see why my car didnt seem as fast as it should have been, half of the lobes were worn, based on this im guessing it was worn already before i got it because if the lobes had been wearing when i had it the rockers would have came loose requireing readjusting. either way this is what i found
OT - Are you planning on cleaning up the wiring at all? I would get a new harness (Painless or OEM). Judging by the pics this car is in desperate need of a good re-wire job. This may save you some headaches in the future.
most of the wires you see arent even hooked up they were for the computer, i havent fished them all out yet because a bunch of them run through the firewall and i have to remove them one by one to make sure none of them are being used
