overheating brakes

LOL

But places like Mavis are great repair facilities lol . If the idiots can’t see that your rear breaks don’t work what makes ya think they can do anything else right lol

well would you look at that…

and Metro Ford also said everything looked good.

Mavis didn’t charge me. Metro did.

:skid

I’m assuming you took it to pci? they are good people there and very reasonably priced.

no, fuck that place. I refuse to go there after they tried fucking over my brother on an inspection. They said the exhaust was illegal (glass pack with a turn down) and I had to read them the DMV inspection manual to prove they were wrong.

I took it to Omilin’s.

Kenny knows his shit. Good guy over there.

Ken retired and sold the place to one of the techs.

I’m reading this laughing because my stepdad had the SAME exact issue on a similar year F150. When he gets home, I’ll ask what he had to do to fix it, because as I recall, it was a fiasco for him also.

^ I’m betting in the end, he sold it and got a new truck…

Hilarious thread. Would definitely browse thru again.

doesn’t your truck have more miles than mine? Its only a year newer too.

Apparently he gave up and had crossroads ford do it. Theyre in ravena or something like that. My bad i had high hopes he was the one who resolved it

Ford brakes are terrible.

Not sure… I’m at 124,xxx. That being said, mine has zero rust, zero mechanical issues, and will last another 900,000 miles with proper maintenance

I’m just messing with you because it’s fun Paul…

A Dodge without giant bubbles above the rear wheels? I don’t believe it. Does it have used car dealer fender flares?

My brother has an '05 Ram 2500 and its a big POS and has around 125k. Sure the Cummins will run forever but the tranny went at 96k, the rearend went at 111k and it eats ujoints, balljoints, shocks and other front end parts. Its got quite a few bubbles above the rear wheels and the driver’s side rocker has a quarter sized rot hole in it.

He bought the truck new in '05.

My truck has 124,9xx right now and just a slight amount of rust bubbling thru the paint and no mechanical issues.

perfect time to sell it!

you should buy a foxbody mustang with the profits!

Im not selling it and the only Mustang Id ever consider buying is a '78 Cobra.

Really though Im done with toys and two vehicles is enough for me right now. Im going to enjoy not having car payments and start saving for a house.
