Does it = racer’s tape? Because I need some of the latter for this Friday.
If not, does anyone have some extra “racer’s tape” i can borrow/buy?

racers tape = vinyl tape.
painters tape in no way = racer tape.
racer tape is waterproof. and with UV exposure can leave a nasty crusty glue mess on your car.
painters tape is not water proof. and is made to come off with no mess.
painter tape = visual mod
racer tape = structural / body work mod
racer tape AKA 100 mph tape? Yeah its like putting super duct tape on your shit son. and joe im surrently the only STfU car in the class.
I just want to protect my bumper from debris at the track. Come to think of it, I definitely nailed a flock of birds last year too.
Painters tape ftw, it wont leave any goop and will peel pretty easily.
Painters tape won’t protect you from more than bugs but it does come off cleanly. I have real racer’s tape in stock if anyone wants in white or black.
What about… painters tape base coat with racers tape on top so the glue stuff doesn’t stick to the car afterwards…?
How about a base of painters tape with racers tape over that and then some drywall tape. Just for good measure some whitehouse congressional hearing tapes. Then some glue.
^^ dont forget the duct tape layer!
That sounds like a good combo, but make sure then to clearcoat over it so it stays shiny…
