Patterson up to his old tricks

I hate this guy

I thought it was 45 days after april 1st?

I said one of the reasons hot sauce

It’s not that the jobs are “going anywhere” it’s the job market here in NY.

what job market? they tried to deny my wife’s initial teacher certification extension for 6 months (she went over the three years w/o being in a music position the first year b/c there were no jobs) they asked how many schools she applied to and she sent in an excel spreadsheet with 35+ schools in the WNY area with dates applied and they sent her a certificate.

they’re carving everything up, cutting anything that’s not math and science.

how many music teachers are in a k-12 environment compared to math, science, social studies, english ect.??

yes her situation sucks but shes in a bit of a niche career and this is the worst downturn since the GD…

Enough already. I think you’ve mentioned this more than a few times:

You could have done both of us a favor, sacked up, and actually mentioned to me that you were unhappy/disgruntled/whatever, but you didn’t. There were exactly two times that I realized that you weren’t happy:

  1. you texted me while I was on vacation saying that if things continued as they were, I’d find myself alone again.
  2. you had Dan come in, you left for lunch, and Dan let me know in so many words that things weren’t good…so to speak.

That was it. Never one word directly to me. Did you ever once ask for an increase? No. Did I give you one without you asking? Yes. Did I ever deduct a single hour’s worth of pay during the entire time you were here for any reason? No. Did I give you cash bonuses when I could, and other things here and there to try to keep the motivation high from time to time? Yes.

On top of all of this, for some reason, you think it’s ok to air your old dirty laundry out here in public. You also say that I was only making payroll on time 50% of the time. That is a flat-out lie, and you know it. Yep, when I was on vacation, things were pretty tough. It was a shitty time of year for me to be away, and things were slow here. I got the payroll through, and instead of direct-depositing on a Friday, it hit on a Monday. That sucked for you, and I came back and told you that it would never happen again. I also told you that if it impacted you in any way, due to charges, late fees that you incurred, no matter what it was, that I would pay for it.

Towards the end, we got into a rut…both of us. I was going through a real rough patch, motivationally, and you apparently started looking for a way out. I suppose I should have made more of an effort to right the ship. However, none of that justifies the way you left, and what you took with you. I never expected that from you. I always admired your character, your drive, and most of all, your workmanship. Even when I spoke to you know who, the Tuesday after your exodus, I told him that I understood it was a business decision for both he and you. I also told him that no matter what my personal and professional grievances were with you, that his project was in good hands, and it will be done right, and he’ll be very happy with it. I still believe that.

What I’m asking now, is that you let the past rest, and move on. Good luck with whatever you do. I mean that.

For what it’s worth, this is the first, and the last time I will speak about this on an open forum.

:fry: :drama2:
