i taking my stripe off my car to get it ready to paint but the pin stripe between the ground fx and door wont come off. the strpie is about 3/4 of an inch wide and i think is the original stripe that came with the car in 1988. the worst part is the stripe seems to be a metalic type of material. i dont own a heat gun. what can i do?
hair dryer might be enough
if it’s the original strip there shouldn’t be too much holding it on
i know the stripe your talking about but i dont think its anything metallic. a heat gun would do it. try and find one or use a hair dryer for now
i took awhile but i used a hair dryer and a razor blade and 4 hours later i got it all off.
