My mom’s stock '03 nissan sentra spec v is throwing a PO507 code. Car has 40000 miles on it.
Throttle body has never been touched, as when googled the problem was generally a person cleaning the throttle body and damaging it.
It idles at 900rpm, which is normal. When AC is turned on it fluctuates btw 900-1100 and goes back to 900 idle.
When releasing the throttle the rpm floats then drops quickly.
Any ideas?
Thanks Mike
let me search the spec v board and get back to u
try this…its a common issue i guess
Idle Relearn
This seems to be a pretty common thing if you swap tbs or clean your tb. Here is how you do it.
-Warm up engine.
-Turn ignition switch ?OFF? and wait at least 10 seconds.
-Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch ?ON? and wait 3 seconds.
-Repeat the following procedure quickly five times within 5 seconds.
a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal.
b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
-Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the MIL stops
blinking and turned ON.
-Fully release the accelerator pedal within 3 seconds after the MIL goes ON.
-Start engine and let it idle.
-Wait 20 seconds.
we tried to do that but the CEL never blinks… Maybe Ill try later again…
