Indeed. I’ll take the added high shear load strength with the slight loss in MPG for running 15w40 anyday. Plus it’s dirt cheap and can be found everywhere. Not like going to a Mobile gas station and looking for Mobile 1 for the HHR’s during the OLOA only to find that none of them carry it :palm

Agreed. I use the 5w40, just like the 5 better for cold starts (rare on that car I know). Synthetic/non synthetic is overrated.
