Fucking lol Mike! Spoken from someone who apparently hasn’t taken one apart. They’re no more complicated than your standard Tial. Only two moving parts inside, main and preload springs, and a few orings.
They’re not junk, people just focus on tial alot. I’ve used all of their major products(EWG, BPV, FPR, missing link) multiple times without issues. Only thing that sucks about them is their use of those damn small port fittings, which are oddball sized to most vacuum line. I just machine them to use standard 3 or 4 AN size fittings instead.
This one BPV I modified the internal boost only port on the mill for an internal crossover, and put a 1/8 npt 3an fitting on the main feed port.
