Would have been more baller w/ pulley from the OEM.
Now that budget ass alternator has an OEM pulley and fan so its slightly more legit. Wish I could have went with OEM but $500 for an alternator is nuts.

You could probably get a high end performance alt for that much. I think the one I have is a 300amp and it was like $325…granted, its a GM
I picked up a reman 90amp for $125. Didn’t have a choice as I needed the car fixed and there was only one parts store local to have one in stock.
Yeah, it sucks when you get into a pinch like that. I’ve had to change my alt in an autozone parking lot more then once, not fun. Thank god it was on the cav and they are easy as hell to change out
my dad does alternators, and i dont remember even the higher end ones usually getting to over 300$. If anyone lives near newburgh ny, Orange Auto Electric is the place to go for starters and alternators.
