Thermo King D214 2 cyclinder compressor pump:
The deal is, they seized the compressor pump and said fuck it and bought 2, IR 80Gal units to replace this compressor they made. I got all that stuff for $100!!! An electric motor this size is 800$+ from grainger. The a 100Gal tank the cheapest I found was $500. And that compressor pump is $1100 new or $800 reman’d from Thermo King. We took the compressor apart and found it spun a rod bearing. The crank is being polished by a friend at their machine shop. and a new bearing is $3.95! So for $103.95 and a case of beer, I will have a wicked 100Gal compressor for CRD’s garage. One of the best deals I ever came across.
Ohh yeah it took a fork lift to put it in the truck, and we had to take the 4 pieces of the setup apart to get it out with 3 people! fucking thing is massive!
