I enjoy older, well built keyboards. You know, the ol’ noisy keytronic or IBM jointz.

Actually I love those. They’re just very obnoxious, especially when the wife is trying to watch desperate housewives :rofl

usually the only distracting sounds im making during that show is fap fap fap fap.

+1 :rofl

to the tune of $470… written out to my loving and caring Amsterdam Police department, who loves to serve more than protect.

Actually I have to give major real life rep to a detective buddy there who helped me out big time getting out of a deep hole I dug myself apparently back in 2009! Dont loose tickets, and always keep your receipts for the fine payments, because paperwork can get “lost” and you may one day be magically suspended.

glad to hear its all sorted out finally bro!!

48 a PAIR of those.

so i pay $8 and not waste time making it

I’ve fabbed most of the parts on my zuk, so i’ve gotten pretty good at determining when something is worth making, and when its worth buying :thumbup

also, i got 10% off so it basically shipped free.

yea but aluminum is stronger than stainless. also the mounts won’t heat up. :rofl :rofl :rofl i am LOL at this whole shit.

Ohh dats pair! I didnt see that! its worth it then for sure.

I should still make a ton of these and keep them on the shelf, they are very usefull for alot of designs and simple to make.

are you using a plasma table? or by hand.

if you got a table imma come use it :stuck_out_tongue:

ask any quality fabricator what they think when they see a kit with steel charge piping, and worm clamps. it’s not like im coming out of nowhere with this pete. this is pretty common thinking in this industry.
is shearer fab quality? buschur and shearer go hand in hand..

like i said, that picture was probably, maybe they still come with the worm clamps, maybe they don’t. if they still do, if they didn’t work he wouldn’t be selling them
Pete is an example of how quality marketing works.
and your a quality example of a chode?

im a marketing major so nice try..

Aluminum is lighter, wicks and removes heat faster.

Stainless is heavier YET resists heat better.

depends on what you need to do. Remember 2 years ago when I did my pipes in 304??? and everyone said I was dumb for doing so??? Huh, now all the big co’s are using it? Not so dumb now I guess!

Pete a t-bolt clamp will never bend, crush, kink 16 ga aluminum tubing. no way. ill go home put an impact wrench on one and send it home on a piece of pipe and a coupler and prove it.

everyone else. Stainless VS aluminum is dependent on what the IC system is doing. If you have a shit ton of tubing and alot of under hood heat, radiating from below said charge pipes, aluminum isnt a good idea, becasue it will wick the heat faster, and if there isnt any cool air flowing over them (i dont even give a shit about the intercooler doesnt matter one bit) they will heat up and introduce heat into the system. Where as stainless would take longer to wick up the under hood temps, if they did it would also take longer to cool off. I would use stainless for short IC runs for drag racing. Aluminum for road race where they would be working much longer, and see more consistent air flow to attempt to remove under hood heat that could be introduced to the pipes.

the bottom line is they are only pipes to move air. really cant fuck that up too bad, so over paying for something like that is retarded IMO… but I dont buy I build so I am biased.
how am i over paying for it? i got a 300$+ shipping upper intercooler pipe for for 190 shipped.. hardly overpaying..

yea buddy

Guys like Pete are the reason why Billy Mays made millions.

Obviously Synapse guys don’t know what they are talking about, they’ve never build anything turbo or anything.

Hey Pete when you see a banner on the Internet that says “You won” do you click it?

:facepalm
have you spent a single dollar at synapse? no. they did work on my car and will contune to do so, no need to bring them in here?

no i don’t click the free banners.. maybe you do? the free gas ones?
it was still dumb. they are doing it because its cheaper.
actually the stainless steel is more expensive… right from the horses mouth
I agree with the stainless pipe resisting heat better… I still would say that aluminum is the superior product here, especially considering the weight (weight is a big thing, this is why my 170lb cousin drag races my car for me hahahahahaha) and remember buschur touts that their MBC is .0007lbs lighter than the competitor.
they don’t claim that its just lighter for a sales pitch.. i bought it because i liked it? i can’t do that?
it might resist heat but on a street car once it gets hot it stays hot. they are trying to recoupe all the added weight of the charge piping. :banghead

.0007 lbs cut, 19.9993 to go.
well say whatever you want mike, but whatever you are saying isn’t going to sway any oppinion on what i do to my car whether you think its worse or for the better.
You and pete need to shop better for your parts.

$48 a pop!

DUDE, the bushings are like $12, $2 in steel plate $2 for a steel tube, 5 mins with a plasma cutter and drill press, splurge on a 12.9 bolt for $2.50 and a $2 grease zerk. $20 and your done!

Fuck, I gotta start making these shits and stocking my selves!
and labor???

ok well now lets add this up
plasma cutter is what 1,000$
drill press 100$ idk ( i have a craftsman one) that i NEVER USE
welder 1000$+?

so say 2300$ if you were to DIY or die…

sorry, i don’t plan on buying all that shit, i’ll just buy the product, no big deal for me. i’m never going to fabricate anything since pretty much everything is off the shelf avliable..

he was talking about the mounts dum dum

and a $100 drill press? you really are a cheap sob

thats what i was talking about about chumba wumba

why not i bought all that shit so i could booger-weld a couple of pieces of plate to a frame?!?!??!

Shipped out today so I should have it later this week or early next week. Been eyeballing the EXO1000 for a while now and this one came up at a hell of a deal!!! It was only used twice and is basically brand new for $125. Everything I hear about it is pure awesomeness.

That’s not Mickey Mouse, THAT’S JUST TIT DIRT!

well your a different kind of animal wayneo

Hahaha the whole discussion about the uic pipe was outrageous. Pete riled up is funny though. Peter…wanna sell that drill press?

actually haha maybe
