Honda OEM filters are equal to Fram. Probably because they are both made by Honeywell. This has been a topic on many forums, they used to be good quality – now they are just shit.
IDK maybe its just me but I swear sometimes I think people take the kind of Oil/Coolant/Filters that they put on their cars WAY to fucking seriously, especially just a daily.
Plenty of people put around in cars with ridiculous mileage that just run shit Adavance Auto or Napa branded Oil with Shitty fram filters and run just fine.
Every Daily I have had gets the correct Weighted Oil Napa Synthetic with a Napa/Fram filter. Hell if Advance Has a special going on sometimes I treat them to Mobil 1 and a PuroLator/Mobil1 Filter
Although If I owned a brand new car I would say I would probably put in a good synthetic oil and either OEM or a Purolator filter…

I only get oem filters. That is all.

i will continue to put on the car, what has been put on the car since it was new in 06.
And I’ll keep using whatever the fuck is on sale @ Advance (because it’s just as good, if not better than OEM).
