so i’ve been wondering for a long time, how the hell do you put those lug nuts on/off without scratching the shit out of the finish?

Any lug will get beat up with the lug key, the finish is fairly durable. I was going to get Fortune Autos Titanium Lugs, but at $21.50 per lug nut I decided against it.

Team Elite 2x 4GB PC3-10600 ram - $36.99 @ Newegg w/ free 8gb microSD

I don’t have to tell you what that is, do I? $10 @ Goodwill Super Store

Added in a random 160w flexATX PSU and a little bit of cutting and this is where we’re at now.

Still a work in progress, just gotta do some cleanup work! I actually swapped the innards of that aftermarket USB NES controller in the pic to the original NES controller I have for more authenticity. I’ll get more pics tomorrow when I get it cosmetically sound. Original POWER/RESET and LED all intact and working. I just removed the click-lock mechanism from the power switch to make it momentary and cut the etch that tied the LED to the power switch. 70" of Super Mario 3 will be enjoyed tomorrow.

nice work!

2 more of these puppies. This time 20x10 +20 for the rear of the lexus

4-6 week back order though. FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU

Love the Nintendo computer, those APU processors from AMD are actually pretty good. I have an HTPC setup with one of those. Works pretty good and it doesn’t need a fan, just a heatsink.

FYI that Ram fails over time from my experience, both machines I’ve had it in and all 4 sticks have failed. Seems odd that all of it failed on me too, but it did, will never buy from that manufacture again. I bought the AMD 4gb Ram for $20 a pop

some new wheels on the Prix…

Weird, the RAM gets 5 star reviews on Newegg. If it fails, I’ll replace it with GSkill or something. I just wanted something with heatsinks due to how tight I have this setup. This particular board has a fan on the APU from the factory, I will likely overclock so it’s a necessity. :lol I added 2 other fans on the front for good measure, its working great for right now.

That is awesome. Build me one!

So what size PSU? is it external?

This is the one I bought

A few reviews are coming up with bad stick of ram (mine was defective out of the box, so if your humming fine, I’m sure your good)

All internal. The PSU is a 160w flexATX from some fossilized Gateway I scored out of a dumpster. I bought a brand new mATX 150W and I gutted it, but it didn’t work – :rofl that’s what I get for not checking it before cutting metal.

I cut out the AC adapter area in the back to accept a standard 3 prong computer PSU cord receptacle. All items are stashed inside the NES completely.

This particular strain appears to be stable. :lol
