if your going to us OS stay away from the older versions they suxā¦make
sure you get the 10.1 not the 10.01[ big difference]. i had 10.01 and took
it out to run OS 9.2

yeah iāll have to agreeā¦ linux has given me my ordeal of hangupsā¦ however i was trying to do more indepth shit that just surf the interweb and suchā¦
i suggest a nice laptop with wireless, if youwant mac, go for it, iād go windoze. wifi is key, also bluetooth is neat.
yupā¦ basically I want a different setting to look at / work in. The screens on the MACs are unreal clear. The wireless is great, all ill be doing with it is browsing the net / looking up porn 
AEMās software wont run on OSXā¦ my uncle has an older winblows laptopā¦ ill just use that for my AEMā¦
Get the Mac! After going to school for IT and a lot of experience with PCās, I can honestly say now that I have a Mac that they are far superior to PCās. Anything someone can do on a PC, I can do on my Mac. The only problem you will ever run into is small time software and games usually donāt have a Mac version. It can be a little frustrating the first month of use if you never used one before. After learning their language and commands it makes much more sense the pcās and is way more efficient. My 800 MHz processor runs circles around my old pc 2k MHz processor.

Uh wrongā¦ while native RISC is faster than CISC in a lot of things the CISC style processors have come a long way. Even the new G5 is not as fast as the high end Intel/AMD chips, Apple is very good at marketing hype.
I wonāt dispute you on the way you claim it makes sense, some pepole just think different.
