powersteering pulley

Hey guys,

got a bit of an issue here.

My car is at the mechanic, a friend of a friend, and he’s started working on my car, he installed the hicas stopper, etc… and was bout to instal lthe non hicas ps pump (a 95), when suddenly a prob came up.

The old 91 pump (hicas) has 4 grooves on the pulley.

The new used 95 pump i got, has 3 grooves.

The pulley on the old 91 pump is welded in and doesnt get off :? so now… what to do?

just use the hicas PS pump

you can take a part the back and and remove a few parts which will then elimate the rear from supplying the hicas (then you just plug the line coming from the pump that would goto the hicas)

there is a whole write up on ww.240sxforums.com and how to do it

#1 remove the rear Cover

#4 plug up the rear hole so that it wont leak and your done

yeah but the problem is my pump is busted, hence the need for the new one :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice visual info though  it should be stickied as people asked about this before (how to convert the hicas pump to this).

But yeah… mine is busted… so…
