the $44.99 data feature i am talking about is an add on to an existing plan. if you switch to the advertised (what you are seeing online) core choice bundle plan you recieve the $40 voice plan and the $45 data plan at a $5 discount.

if you are on a family share, you cant get that bundle discount.

Gotcha. What I meant was that the data cost was an additional one and not a plan price.
