As far as chassis stiffness you should be fine. When the car came out Honda claimed the S2000 was even stiffer than the integra type R. I’ve driven both at autox and i’d go along with their claim. If needed adding more reinforcement wouldn’t be rocket science.
I’d probaly think more about the transmission. The actual S2000 tranny isn’t half bad, but the clutch side sucks from my understanding. The car that I drove is already having its clutch replaced with a few thousand miles on it, and thing is bone stock. Wedge a T56 in there (along with all the other upgraded driveline shit mentioned) and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. The swap isn’t my cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean I DON’T want to see it happen hehe.

From 2000 and up. A used 00’ will go for around 20k give or take (with a motor still in it of course). I’ve seen wrecked ones with no frame damage for pretty cheap if your willing do deal with something like that.

yeah chris dont you know that the answer to any cutom project is an SBC, every street rod has one and now the dumbasses that cant get a street rod are gunna put them in the imports, 350’s , more specifically LS1’s, are the only way to go fast everyone knows that :tool:
