Actually we pushed it off the trailer and rolled it into the garage.
The motor didn’t crankwalk. Although it does need a new crank!

food for thought. I put a crx with almost no rust under a cover on a trailer, and the rockers rotted from the TOP.
covers trap moisture. without a garage, it should have already been washed, waxed extensively top and bottom and up on a trailer parked on a driveway.
The only reason i would park on the grass is because my dad needs to plow the driveway and it would be permantly parked in front of the garage otherwise, and i dont want him taking my car out for joyrides lol. i dont live with him
I’d just make sure the wheels are resting on something other than ground (wood?), cover it up, and start her up every once and awhile.
Cool story: My friends dad had a stingray and a foxbody but could only fit one of them in the garage. Which one did he keep outside? The vette (with proper precautions though). Because in his words “if I left the stang out that thing would rust to all hell”.
the dryer sheets thing works real well, mines in a cold garage but i throw some cardboard under it to soak up moisture from the garage floor
ok the car has no tires in the front has donuts on the back…its on jack stands in the front but on the frame…i dont want to put a cover cause its true how shimamike said when the water refreeze’s…and there is no motor in the car…the motor is on plywood covered in plastic outside next to the car… any suggestions on that??
One of your posts mentions something about swapping an EK.
So you’re storing a 20 year old Civic shell? No motor or wheels/tires? I’d just stick it in the yard with no cover, far enough from the driveway so that salty snow doesn’t get thrown on it, and put it out of my mind until spring.
i knw it wont mess up at all jus thought if mayb there were ideas cause the car jus got painted this summer…i never really cover my cars i jus let them sit over the winter the saly never fks it up i wash it no sooner the snow starts to go away
no need to go nuts and wry. cover it if ya like and thats that. and ya cover the exhaust n stuff to be on the safe side. if ya like, to make u feel better start it once a while to make sure everythings good. other than that the body is perfectly fine and the car will be sure to run jus fine
