intercooler piping did not fail. A pin hole so small it took months to find showed up, once found I had no hesitation in offering to fix it. This is one smaller than a pin hole in hole leak over meters of welded aluminium and cast aluminium…
The ‘idea’ and the product you simpleton is called a ‘torque stay’ it was designed to hold a specific amount of torque that’s it. It ‘failed’ because the - owner of the car was not using a Front tower brace… the CARS frame, in moderate speed cornering was loading up the torque stay… Now I don’t know about you and your concept of design but putting a side load of that proportion on the aluminium head of the SR strikes me as being not too smart. So the part did what it was suppose to and break under loads over and above what it was designed for… after all it’s a torque stay NOT a tower brace…

And another note, sometimes engineers can’t even figure out immediately why things work or they don’t. Why would you expect Sasha too but I don’t think he is too concerned considering his S14 is very competitive, so its a dead issue.

i dont know both businesses but after viewing the two websites, SG-Motorsport.com looks WAY more professional then Battleauto.com. So for appearances, i’d pick up the phone and call SG-Motorsport.com first. Thats only if i was looking through yellowpages directory and it came down between the two. It’s all about appearances, by the way wheres Inisfil? sounds far.

well it seems to be the way in north america that the slick sites and layouts get the play, perception is more important then value in most cases… unfortunate but true.
No clue who does his websites but I do my own, with the time I have to spare for it. The best way to find out about a shop is to ask customers of each business… However we are both very different styles of business… I don’t feel the need, now, to have 6000 sq ft. in one place nor have the slick shop or ad campaign. I work word of mouth via my customers, my primary shop is 700 sq feet at home, ( backed up by 5000 sq feet up north further when needed ), minimal overhead that’s passed onto the customer… lower prices, better work & faster turn around.
Honestly, there are some really sweet posts in this thread, but i have to say ed’s are by far the best!
