rb or 13b?

We were quoted $200 for a starter on the explorer. We ended up getting one used. Stealerships suck.

 who the hell goes to the dealership for ford parts.
but i hear yeah on explorer parts, moms needs a tranny

Yeah, I dont go to the dealership for anything but the Explorer is technically state property(WVU) so we try to work out stuff with the local dealership since they will sometimes help with sponsorship.

uhhh yeah if I need a honda part I go to a honda dealer. I know it is a new concept you will grasp it someday…who are your connections and how long does it take you to get RB parts. I can see spending money on a RB25 or 26 but the RB 20 is a obscure motor. good luck with that and does your RB run? if so bring it to the track in spring but you are probably like 99% of 240 owners that think drifting is cool and wear punk rock clothes without knowing anything

sounds like some jelousy.
when was the last time you wrenched something

ha, thats funny. . .i own a shop AND can get RB parts :kekegay:

Yeah, twas my point. They arent hard to get.

You know nothing about me. I dont do drag racing and think it is boring. If you wanna come to Beaver and do some autoX you might see me there in spring. My car should be done by january. My connections are mainly through FI-R and my friend Travis(owner of FI-R). I also deal alot with JGY and I can call Adreas Miko too. I can also get any new/used performance parts for the next 4 month straight from Japan since my buddy Daryl is living there on the Marine base. He already got an S-ITC for me to sell over here. The RB20 has all of the capabilities or the RB25 and RB26 and you can share cams and other things between the motors. I am not some drifting fanboy and will probably never drift. I am a WVU Engineering Senior that wants to have something to play with. Right now I am working on a project called Challenge X which is sponsored by GM. We get an equinox and we must make it a hybrid or hydrogen car that can show lower emissions and higher fuel economy. I am personally in charge of the control system and modeling. Modifying cars is so easy since most modification have been done before. Try designing a hybrid system from scratch. So far we are using a VW 1.9 TDI engine and are going to design a hydrogen injection system to assist the diesel. If you want to have an arguement with me, please use something more than your opinions. I am not some idiot kid who just wants a drift car and knows nothing about it.

and how long will it take to get them? this coming from someone that talks like a machanic but you tend to blow crap up

If my buddy has them instock, i could have it in a day or 2.

yep, i blow stuff up and i’ve only been a mechanic for 7 years. Its the only way you know where your limits are…if you can afford it

by the looks of most of your choices in cars you can’t afford it…I wouldn’t let you work on a RC car

ITR is a book nerd with no hands on work done :kekegay:

sorry sam, but rb parts are readily available so just drop it.
