honestly. It should bolt right up. No problems what so ever. If your having fitment issues maybe your using wrong x-member? (engine)

Everything on mine, mechanical is done. Fucking with the wiring now. Gonna do it once and only once. So it may take a while.

wat driveshaft did you use? i’m using the engine crossmember from an r32, its in it works, the r32 tans crossmemeber doesnt line up with the bolt holes at all. i dont know why. thats just the way it is. i am gonna try the stock KA one this week to see if it works. otherwise i have a r32 driveshaft and an abs KA drieshaft. i’m hoping one of those will work.

can you show me a picture of inside your fener and how you got your sidemount to work???it would help so much.

I have no pictures of it. You have to make the piping run the way you want. cut here and cut there. weld this, weld that. even if i showed you pictures, you would not get the fit i do.

do it step by step. cut out a big square infront og the wheel well and go from there.

ok i just figured i could get an idea from how you did it.

mount your intercooler how you want it. THEN make the pipes work.

either of you guys runnin power steering?

any issues with that? if dropping it into a zenki do you need chuki PS lines

i ahevtn gotten there yet. if i do run power steering i will have to take apart the pump and pull out the rear pump so it wont pump for hicas anymore and then just use my stock lines.

No issues with power steering here. Well minus the HICAS warning light coming on once in a while at idle.

That and her hunting and stalling after 2nd gear are my only problems. Got to figure this shit out.

Also seems kinda lazy bottom end…I dont know??? No CES, no lights at all. so, weird.

the power steering if you have a DOHC car you should be fine, they bolted right up.

forthe hicas i jsut cut the hose, took the metal connector and welded the tip closed andput it all back togetrher, of course removing the fans

let me know how you heating and cooling are in the hot weather, id be suprisedif it doesnt overheat with that rad.

pusher fans sucked when i used them. but then i chnaged it to puller and never relly had any more heating problems

and its a stock rb20…dont expect much. stock boost? any exhaust leaks before the turbo? do you have a wideband?

everything is stock.

puller 10" derale fan on a thermostatic set to 78 degrees.

HICAS works. Just the light once in a while at idle. Could still have an air pocket in the system.

Stock boost. No leaks. No smoke black white or blue. Pulls quite hard mid range. Bottom end is a wee bit lazy. Then again I need to fuck with my IAC and triple check the wiring to it.

Drives incredible smooth. No complaints there. Just the stalling on anything after 2nd gear deceleration. And lazy bottom end.

Brian I was using my stock KA rad and an R33 A/C fan. Even a hot track day didn’t overheat her =]

i still ogtta figure out my wiring. but on the good side my KA trans mount worked!!! so now on to wiring and such. i’m gettin close. i could really use someone to come down to london and help for a day. ill pay for gas and then some.

Once me and my buddy figure out my car completely, if you still need it wired by then, I am sure we can work something out.

I am having a couple problems;

1: stalls when coming to a stop, only after you give her more than normal, drive her normal and she’s fine

2: Hard to start hot or cold (warm is fine - around 15 degrees Celsius)

3: Hunts 100 rpm intermittently (1,100rpm - 1,000rpm)

  1. HICAS warning light comes on after idling for about 10 minutes - pressure switch?

Did you hook up your cold start wire to your ecu and power to your aac valve? Just wondering because mine ran like crap before I had my aac valve hooked up.
