im just wondering if any one knows…do i need an aftermarket bov, for a front mount intercooler insalled?..or can i still use the old stock factory bov?..the thing is im using the stock bov rite now…evertime i put high throttle,and whn i let off … the motor starts to shake real bad and theres no power, feel like its goin to turn off…but settles down after… the piping is all sealed good…im thinikin if the bov… its was fyne earlier when i had my old side mount intercooler …can any 1 here help me plz?
its an rb20det motor all stock…so the bov is located at the top …
Make sur ethe BOV is recirculated.
Exactly. Sounds like you are venting your stock BOV to the atmsophere hence it wants to stall everytime.
Stock bov (recirc valve) do leak.
If you want to run an open to atmosphere setup switch to an aftermarket one.
If you want to keep the stock bov/recirc valve, then recirculate it back into the intake.
