RC Talk - What do you have/discussion.

Tenergy 160’s. They’re only 15c but still seem to have more punch than the stock battery. Maybe because they’re lighter.

Its a mix of dirt/mud/small puddled water. When you are done, every single thing on your truck will be coated in mud without question. EVERYTHING!

found this mountain… .

I had the sweet idea to hit it 3/4 throttle(30mph ish) with my T4. It ended up in the clouds and hit the ground like a missle haha…

Broke the chassis and a bunch of other shit…

I said F uuuu… mountain! I brought the slash 4x4 out, took the body off and gave it hell. I ended up breaking the 4wd, 2 turn buckles, 2 rear A-arms, front +rear bumper and rear axle after 50+ jumps.

Here’s a vid of a few jumps, not the greatest quality because my phone was proped up on the guard rail.

Had a few real good jumps that i wish i filmed. Oh that was only 2wd at that point also…

Video isn’t working.

That f*cking blows though about the T4, my t4.1 is taking a beating!!! Track is getting more and more broken down. Just got my hands on an industrial weed wackier with attachments to really chop at the ground and other bs on the ground. Table top is completely finish and gives a great distance and height for a jump, the banked turn is rock solid and only flaking off loose dirt. The track actually was dry this weekend. 3 rollers created on the last straight, the first to the triple is setup, 2 jumps in the back after the table are setup…just really starting to come along and get better.

We have to meet up and get some track talk down and plan a day for driving.

I have a video of 2 weeks ago when the track was just getting better. Still was muddy in corner, which you can just see how bad it was with the rustler taking the lead. It was a shitty start and the table was way to sloped for anyone to hit it right in this video. Give me a moment and I’ll see if I can get it on here.

track was dry this weekend, no water at all, one corner was a bit soft though

See if this works

LOL, I see why you ended up with broken parts. Dropping a plastic truck from a second story isn’t going to usually fair up to well when it hits weaker spots.

Angles of the photos don’t do what we have justice on height. The table and banked turn are a little bigger than they appear, along with the 2 rounded bumps in the back.

Hopefully in the next couple weeks we get a good a good amount pounded out.

Looking good! I need to get motivated and put my trucks back together. Can I run my 5th scale there or will the noise cause problems? It sounds like a piped 125cc mx bike for reference…

Maybe for a short bit, don’t want to piss neighbors off and cause it to end. I’m down for seeing it, but how will it handle the width and length of the track. 7ft wide track.

Edit: you weren’t messing around with an S2k on Grand Island the other week at all around 1am were you? I just see the Cobalt in the signature.

here is some junk I run.

my on/off road stuff

1am is past my bedtime lol…

Did a lot of work this weekend. Tracks coming along. We tilled up the grass and a small layer of dirt, raked all that off to the side, now to till again and rake it even and wait for rain to harden it back up. Should be good after a little more work.

Looking at running this Sunday and doing some more work on it. Donkeyballs, let me know if you are interested in stopping over.

I’ve been flying some BLADE micro and nano helicopters since last summer. They are fun and affordable. I’m getting used to doing flips and inverted hovering. I wanted to get into RC helicopters many years ago but it was a MONEY PIT x1000.

Now for a few hundred dollars you can get a decent setup that will do everything the big ones do (relatively), and don’t cost $100+ each crash. They can and do still get damaged but most of the time I’m just picking it back up and flying.

i wanna run on that track …
