HAHA I’d love to line my basement with dirt and make jumps. Already thought of it, but that wouldnt go over so well. Just need a big section of tarp/2x4’s/dirt/clay mix, and we are good. lol
I have carpets and wood ramps, but if you want to fill your basement full of dirt that’s cool :tup:
HAHAHA that wouldnt happen with the dirt. I need to get a 1/24 scale if I was to do this anyways. I only have 1/16 and nitro 1/10 (not currently running because of an axle, Looking up retrofitting for it.) and another nitro 1/10 about to come in the mail (roller with everything but engine)
you would need a pretty big basement for a 1/18th track, i’d be willing to bet my rc18 tops out at 20-25 mph or so, all stock
just ordered a associated rc10T4.1, so that should be here by the end of the week
The losi brushless 1/24 SC truck would be perfect and it’s only $149 rtr. My 1/18 X-ray truck works great in the basement and it will do an easy 50+mph on a 3s lipo haha…
The t4 is one of my favorite trucks, but it breaks more than anything i own.

Anyone know a place to fly inside? Open large gym? The MSRX is a handful in most small rooms for a new flyer
You can fly it at R&L hobbies/raceway in North tonawanda. Jerry the owner is a real nice guy and there is plenty of room in the pit area with high ceilings.

MSRX came in the mail Monday. Wife already wrapped it for my bday though. 
i used to have a losi mini desert truck. had the mamba brushless motor, gears, upgraded battery, ball bearings. was pretty fast for how small it was.
got out of it though, i have enough hobbies as it is.
My duratrax rolling chassis with all electronics should be in today, just need to hook up the engine and get a clutch cover/bell house I believe the name is.

Decided to build my own with carpet and pipe insulator for rails. It’s gonna be 3ft wide lanes which is plenty wide enough for 1/18 scale. It will have 3 24ft lanes and 9x9 area with tight S turns.
this is one 12 ft whoop section with 3 1/18 scale trucks.
Making some progress, just need more carpet so i can get rid of the random pieces. I would like to add some bigger jumps and a few banked turns.
Still getting used to driving on carpet …
So having a weird issue with the Slash. Not sure if you can help. The truck stuttering problem with the gas (reverse or forward) It’s jumpy, doesnt go… suddenly the gas will kick in and it takes off. Once the truck is moving, it usually doesnt happen. Once you come to a full stop, it starts doing it again. Its not every time either.
So anyways, heres my quick paint job. Not the best, but still my own design.

Awesome! Makes me want a 1/18 scale.
I would check the radio batteries first cause that will happen when they get low. The motor or esc could be getting hot and it’s going into protection mode. I have killed a few Traxxas esc’s driving in the snow so be careful with that.

Thank you for the heads up, we did however try a different radio but same crystal. I’ll probably try a different esc since skurge has one I can try.
