Be prepared to break more parts. . I seen your post on the other forum and you can run any tire but i would get BK bars or suburbs or something similar. Nimh batteries are fine to get started and I go most practice nights if you have any other questions.
oh i’m prepared to break parts, thats not an issue. i’ve been into hobby grade RC cars for 15 or so years, i’m used to it…i dont think i’ve ever had all of my cars in running order at the same time for more than a day haha
i’ll have to take a look at the tire options, i just want something decent to run there

I would get the 2wd slash over the rustler imho… I would look for a used brushless slash 4x4 in that price range though if you’re looking for a basher. They take a serious beating and you can drive it on a lot more different terrains. The 4x4 is decent on the track if setup right, but get the sc10 if you’re looking for a competitive track truck and basher. I can let you drive my slash 4x4 if you want before you buy something.

LOL to late. I already have a 1/16 slash 4x4 brushless as shown above, I love it… but wouldnt want another, even if larger. I wanted a 1/10 stadium truck. So I figured the best bang for the buck would be the rustler. I found out its a blast as soon as I took it for a drive. Moves the speeds I want, and jumps a good distance off snowmounds. lol

I like my rally, but not enough power. I’ve decided to build my own with the exotex carbon fiber chassis instead of buying another.
Not enough power? What motor? I know mines almsot too fast for its own good. lol
