ok… so I want to relocate my battery to my trunk but i dont know what I need and where is the best place to put it.:eekdance::eekdance:
k thanks
why do you want to do it?
personally i think its a pain in the ass. if i could fit mine up front, i’d do it in a second
im guessing either for weight transfer or for looks, moving the batt clears alot of space
better weight distribution for mustangs
edit: maybe he’s making room for a turblo ls1??? lol
^^^^^^quiet!!!02svtfocus
o and i just need more room for the msd shit
well the weight distribution helps in anything. i just hate the lowered voltage and the miles of extra cable you have to run
thats why he should buy my red top
turboLS1 PM me an offer
hey suzuki, you need all the parts and I got em
if you locate a battery to your trunk shouldnt yo run a sealed battery that has a vent tube or a gell cell battery due to the gases
idk if i am goin this route but i just want to get sum opinions bf i go and do this crazy project
always wonder that because all bmws and even my car that had a battery in the trunk does not have a regular vent cap battery it is sealed with a vent tube to the outside. same things with cadiallac and buicks with batterys under the rear seat
I was all about moving the battery to the trunk…Then I realized the mile of cable you have to run + the kill switch + battery box + full size battery weighs a ton…simple soultion is I can run a 10-15lb light weight battery up front…
:word:
that cable ain’t light. or cheap
^^^^^good call thanks
you dont need a kill switch, its not that hard my dad and cousin and buddy all have theirs in the trunk
