Hahaha yea, on average we are having dinner at 7-7:30. We’re gonna go on a weekend, but not 3:00 in the afternoon, I’m not 70 hahaha.
Water Valley Inn in Hamburg. Not upscale but has on old country cozy feel. No complaints about the quality, good food, friendly people. Old school.
Forgot to mention Western Door Steakhouse @ Seneca Niagara. Fantastic everything. Definitely not cheap but reasonable if you have plenty of comp points…which I do. Recommend the Chairman’s Delmonico.
Yea I’ve been there, not bad. I think in gonna take the advice of blue eye and try Ricks maybe. Sounds decent.
I found Left Bank to be okay, worthy of another shot or two but not as awesome as Tempo…
Tempo seems impossible to get a reservation at this time of the year
This place is terrible.
Mike A’s in hotel lafayette
heard about this place, looking forward to trying it ou
i believe that.
This will be a nice thread to reference I feel for later times as well.
Applebee’s in Southgate Plaza is always a good choice. As well as Olive Garden by Mckinley mall.
Buffalo Chophouse, Russels, and like someone else said Black and Blue. Been there a few times and have never had a bad experience.
All good calls. Also Hyde Park is amazing when compared to the big guys. Roycroft and Ricks in East Aurora are both great calls too. Awesome experience but a bit more expensive. The Melting Pot is also good for a one on one meal. Good luck.
I really like Oliver’s.
You can go early and bask in the eyes of your woman for 3 hours than eat.
Try Old Orchard Inn.
I think ill save that one and let you take me there for such an occasion, you can bask in the eyes of me.
Rue Franklin, Oliver’s, Tempo, Left Bank, EB Greens, Hutch’s
Black and Blue has been hit or miss for me.
I looking forward to checking out Mike A’s, I’ve heard nothing but good things.
Of all of them, I think Rue Franklin probably has the most romantic dining experience, but I usually only ever go there on week nights, and it’s not quite as busy. The service is top notch. It’s also one of the few places that regularly has game meats on the menu(if you’re in to that sort of thing).
hyde park is great if you want to eat at the mall next to canadians that just got done shopping. :bloated:
Stop fucking around and call Mike A’s. You wont be upset.
Hutch’s and make sure you get Tony as your waiter. He’s the best waiter I’ve ever had.
I decided to try Ricks. The menu has items that sound really appetizing, I’m able to get a table without too much trouble. Mike A’s does sound good too though. Maybe ill put a few dollars aside now and then and save up to go out on valentines day or something else special.
