Oh I know…and yes. Sadly I don’t think I am really hanging with hipsters tonight. Prob just Joe slugging rum/coke and geehee telling him how trashy they are. However we can observe hipsters in their environment while I drink beer.
lol I bet half the people who talk about hipsters don’t even know what a real hipster is
we don’t even really have hipsters here. The term is coined for a specific type of people, who due to the development of the economy buffalo doesn’t really possess. I’m talking true hipsters, hand-me-down Mercedes E class, parents-paid-for-their-film-degree-at-NYU-plus-a-living-stipend, stick-and-poke-tattoos, guys-wearing-flamboyant-female-clothes, extremely-ironic-mustaches, etc.
are you talking about artists, musicians, philosophers, and teachers who wear tight pants? Yeah they’d probably have nothing interesting to say. Now cars, there’s an interesting thing to talk about.
Dozr is correct about Carmelo’s. The charcuterie is one of the main reasons I’ll go. Their whole team (Carmelo, Bruce and David) are very talented.
LOL! love it.
I was actually more referring to the Chippewa type club scene, but I can see we’ve touched a nerve here.
 prime490 was awesome.
I always had a great time/food when i went to fiamma
Me too on the fiamma
Lets not derail this with the hipster bs.
How is that lone star take out place on hertel by checkers? Anyone?
Lone star steak fajitas are awesome as are the cini chips. Great cheap eats.
It’s quite good…
Lets talk about red robin and their Jim bean burgers.
EDIT: and unlimited fries. Can’t forget that
Let’s get a dinner meet together. All go out to a restaurant and ball.
Forgot to mention Hatfields, if you happen to be in Melrose, near Los Angeles
Got what they served to a tee on Master Chef, everything was awesome
Around 90 PP

Red Robin is TERRIBLE. Jesus I went once alone and once with my parents. I took the hamburger out of the bun and split it in half to see what it was made off. It looked like a ton of little clear gross fatty things. Then it’s also awesome that you can’t get anything less than Medium, because they’re microwave doesn’t cook like that. Being a cook there must be easy, but maybe the microwave has a lot of buttons.
We could meet and do one restaurant a month or something.
Sounds romantic.
we could set up a pre-fixe menu at various places… i think this is a good idea actually but would enough people put ~$100 up in advance?
If we do this on like Monday nights we should be able to get into any place around.
Josh and I tried Mike A’s on Monday night this week. It was good, worthy of a second shot. I had a better overall experience at Tempo but you can’t judge a restaurant by one monday night.
I’m in providing work schedule permits it.
Anyone been to Remington Tavern in Tonawanda, same owners as Hutch’s/Tempo?
^^^nice joint
Not sure if there any other vegans/vegetarians/people with gluten allergies on here.
Had dinner with some friends at Merge the other night for the first time in a while. They have changed their menu and I was very pleased. Food was delicious and got good reviews from non-vegan friends ie: jam, big E, dawn. They also have meat options too
It’s a great place for vegan/vegetarians who want to go out for a more “upscale” meal. And if you have a gluten allergy they do offer a few gluten free dishes.
Owl house in Rochester for the same reasons as merge
do they serve human food?
also, if we do that Nyspeed night out thingy we should do one after a CSCS event in Ontario at this place: http://www.twistedlemon.ca/
It’s 5 minutes from TMP and it’s supposed to be really good.
