GREEN > RED.
There was no sign that said “no turn on red”. Yes I was still at fault but I didnt turn onto the road until she waved me to go. I creeped up a cars length and stopped once I noticed she was doing the u-turn but thats when she stopped as well. I believe there is 3 lanes and I was going into the right lane and she was going into the middle.
Technically I doubt the court will even consider what the other guy did a uturn because the car turning around was on a divided highway and using the green arrow. It’s a common way of turning around on a divided city street, where uturns without that green arrow are illegal at intersections. Look up the uturn reg, I believe there is some minimum distance like 100 feet from an intersection.
And J, how the hell is the car using the green arrow to make this turn supposed to go from the far left eastbound lane (that’s where the turn lane would be) to the far left westbound lane? It’s impossible without doing half a donut, which I know is illegal.
