Weak logic. If you have ever tried getting locks off, its NOT easy.
And it takes TIME. No way someone would sit there for 2 hours trying to get the wheels off. If you had 2 or 3 sets on no one would try to steal that shit.

i dont know how its done but its possible. When I was younger I worked with some shady dudes who said that wheel locks don’t mean shit. I think they use some sort of freezing method and just break the studs right off(i think).
there are only soo many different kinds of wheel locks, if you think the crooks never have the adapter for the wheel locks your dreaming.

also… FYI, Locks are made of a much harder steel then regular nuts. Biting into them is very difficult.
the locking nuts are round on the outside and the key fits into them like a ratchet. so, no, you couldn’t.

That works, They usually take about 2-3 minutes to remove.
I’d agree though that the locks would make the thief think twice about it.
Wheel locks don’t do anything. All you need to do is put a slightly larger socket on there, hit it with a hammer, and then continue to zip off the lugs. Most people wouldn’t have the sockets and know-how to do this, but any professional who is going to be doing something like this, would know how.

was just going say this …if you get some cheep sockets from the flea market like 30 (make sure there is a hole in them to get lugs out when done…)of them you can take lots of wheel locks off …mcgard will also tell you this way to get locks off…if you dont have the code for the locks
