Rockerguard - Undercoating?

Can you use this as an undercoating or rustproofing on the underbody? (ie. spray on chassis, frame rails etc.) Apparently it “insulates” also…would that be a bad idea?

Yeah you can use it where ever you like (It’s very similar to the stuff Nissan puts on the frame rails). Canadian Tire also sells an “Asphalt” rubberized undercoating. It covers better and thicker, and from what I can tell is less resistant to cracking. I sprayed all of my wheel wells with the stuff and it works great. Just dont spary Exhaust, brake line connecters, electrical stuff or anything like that.

I used that stuff on my underbody. really good stuff.

:werd:

I went to Krown and got my whole car done up but I in the spring will be giving my underside a liberal coat of somthing like that.

Thanks guys! You all rock! :blue:

i did my ENTIRE car in that stuff. 8 cans. ahhh memories of the SHO.

Same, Have done over 5 Cars now in that stuff…

Works well on clean surfaces, but for the underside I reccomed
the Rubberized Asphalt, It’s thicker, Sticks better and lasts longer.

^^^ Roger that.
