So as I was going to work today, going thru o’Hara twp, freeport road, I saw a cop car going the other direction (don’t know if it was city of pgh or local… and his light bar was like stealth about 2/3 shorter than the profile of the normal ones…has pgh gotten new ones, is this a trial, or should i be paranoid of all cars that look like they have a ski rack ontop??
ive seen a few… different twp’s around here in the south hill… all of them dont have them, i think they are like a LED strobe or something like that… they can definitly sneek up on you if you not used to looking for them, because it does just look like a roof rack…
bethel’s LED explorer always makes me look twice…
you cant tell its the police untill you see the police sticker on the side… from the front it looks like a normal white explorer
All McCandless police cars use LED lightbars now…They pissed me off for a while b/c you couldn’t see them, but you get used to it after a while.
that is on almost all of the O’Hara cop cars and i think maybe on the exploer they have…i drive by the police station everytime i go to my girlfriends house…they def. arnt as noticable as before
LED’s are the new Hotness with cop car rice.
i like the ram they put on the front…the crown vic interceptor has a pretty intimdating look.
New Brighton PD got all new vehicles… all equipped with the LEDs. Ironic that they are the ones who hassled me the most about my LED tail lights. Now they have them on top of their cars because they are so much brighter.

Out here most of the cops don’t even have light bars on the roof anymore. Except the older cruisers. All the newer ones have either smaller ones on the roof like you described or they are in the back window. All with clear housings. Fucking bastards are getting harder to keep track of. :mad:
