Roundabouts?

love them… but most Americans don’t understand how to use them.

Theres on at Blue Mountain up here in Ontario, its fun when you dont get stuck behind someone too scared to enter, or when then snow banks arent so high you cant see people coming. I would say when I use it, 50% of the people go through like they have no idea what they’re doing.

I try not to use the word hate too much but, I HATE sitting at red lights.
Red lights also encourage teenaged girls to sit and text while the light turned green 5 seconds ago!!!

Fun…the one in Syracuse (Carrier Circle) is the one I’ll get 3-4 laps in on…LOL.

Is that the Fruit Loop? :io:

I don’t get it nor have heard it called that.
It’s off Thompson rd, near the Carrier Corp.

I would like them better if I had a car that could go around them sideways…soon hopefully

On my way to teach @ ECC in the summer I scrub the tires off on my motorcycle early in the mornings on the weekends, it’s a good time on the Supermoto.

First time I used one I was a little unsure what to do. I did a hairy burnout around it and got a ticket. I am learning though.

I love roundabouts as I find them far easier and safer than stop signs. Traffic flows better as well.

They work very well in England and the rest of the world.

Seems most Germans don’t either…

No that’s dupont circle in DC. There’s not much near carrier circle except a couple of hotels and a Ruby Tuesdays where all the girls know me. :io:

Mythbusters episode:

Does anyone else here use the two near the tunnel under the airport to go back and forth at wot a few times?

Mythbusters proves they’re more efficient and they didn’t even touch on the fact that the risk of serious t-bone type crashes is basically eliminated.

I like them…

on my way to work I watch some woman navigate one stopping at every entrance to let traffic in. It made me so mad for like an hour after.
