rydin hella wide and burnin paint

so yea i burned thru my paint on one side of the tdi. i dont want it to rust, what should i do. cheap, cost effective way…

i was thinkin, my neighbor has some por 15… should i just grab a qtip and dab it in where it melted the paint off to stop from rusting. painting is not an option. it really isn’t tooooo bad.

yes to por15. It’s just going to wear off again next year (or this year if you’re still that low)

Install widebody.

ok, yea and its back up to cup kit ride height… i’ll take a pic tomm of how terrible the car looks… funny how a set of RC’s make the car look hella fly

dont por 15 it, it tends to peel off if applied to bare metal, unless its meticulously prepped, then its still likely to peel, lol. why not just hit it with touchup paint?

Ok, here’s a few fun facts about por15.

It shouldn’t be applied at a very smooth surface, it won’t adhere well.

It shouldn’t be used where it can be exposed to sunlight, the uv will break it down

^ unless properly topcoated with…a por-15 topcoat, or por-15 primer then a topcoat of your choice. Really what it comes down to is dont use por-15 unless your going over some kind of rust. It needs to be able to bite to something to be as tough as they claim.

If you use por-15 on bare metal you need to use Por-15 Prep and Ready first.

How the fuck did you burn through the paint on your TDI?

Tires rubbing from being spaced out and low BRYAN

Oh I thought he got a Wyan Kwamah detail jobber.

:rofl ^^

so what should i do

take it to northeast it won’t cost much to fix the right way

Dont raise it and let it rub. It will never rust.

reading is fundemental.

Fawk i guess i need to brush up on my hooked on phonics

well, he clearly said paint work IS NOT and option in the OP.

lol I saw that after your post. But imo if you want want to fix it do it right why half ass it if you want to keep car for awhile.

Stay low, let it burn kidd
