There’s so little area to work with on the vert seat and there is next to no metal framing to build off so i kept is simple with just one function which is to show off the illuminated sub and give off some better sound. I picked up a spare vert seat so maybe in the years to come.
While your builds typically aren’t my taste or style, I absolutely admire the attention to detail you put into everything, and your unique fabrication skills. It’s so easy to see the passion that go into you builds.
…I have to admit I’m seriously digging the headlights though!
Just put the car on the road and finished the JDM signals with switchbacks.
Does anyone know if hyper flash is illegal? eventually i want to fix it without using load resistors…i have to find the hazzard/signal relay and see if it has a shunt resistor and replace it with a .12ohm 1w resistor to trick the system and actually benefit from led power saving
I blew a coolant line above the starter motor so while i was in there i did the big 3 upgrade on the alternator. This involves grounding the battery to the chassis with 0 gauge as well as the alt to chassis and + on alt to + on battery. I get the same voltage readings as before but less sudden drops in voltage when the fans kick in. Im going to put the quest alternator in before i put my 2200rms mono block back in ontop of the 4ch 600rms amp.
I experimented with plasti dip on the wheels, im still leaning towards polished. I think the murdered out look is averaging me being pulled over once every hour…no lie. No tickets, the one cops partner even said he just pulled me over to admire the car…like seriously!!
My top stopped functioning and after replacing all the relays and amps i gave up and ripped it all out replacing heaps of wiring with 2 simple relays and a toggle switch. heres the comparison side by side, im using a window motor to bench test my wiring before installing on the car.
This is my very first thread on Son240, and I must say, you have alot of passion and dedication for your car.
Keep up the good work and can’t wait to see future updates.
