I love downhill racing, and all light RWD cars.
Because it is all about lightweightedness right!
Here is the question:
What are the lightest models of each year for the 240SX?
I am a bit confused because I have many different #'s.
Here’s what I got:
Year Weight
1989- 2650.lbs
1990- 2684.lbs
1991- 2657.lbs
1992- 2730.lbs
1993- 2807.lbs

i guess those numbers are right, sohc model should be the lightest since the motor is smaller but i guess the difference is in no power options.
As far as North American models are concerned, the lightest you’d find would be an 89-90 stripper coupe and, the convertbile notwithstanding, the heaviest would be a 91-93 loaded LE fastback.
I’m guessing the range between the two is ~200-250lbs?
yay for zenki coupes , gotta love them
I don’t get it what differs a 1991 car from a 1992 from a 1993? to increase the weight 100+ lbs / year?

Maybe in 91 they tested a base coupe… in 92 they tested an SE coupe and in 93 an LE hatch?
