Alright, So my headlights won’t go down, previous owner had sleepy’s but now there messed. He said that i just need to replace the fuse beside the battery, but i did still nothing, any advice?
bust out the multimeter and a wiring diagram, trace the wiring from the headlights back to see where it stops working.
Didn’t want to hear that, i was hoping someone would tell me some crazy trick
with a ‘sleepy eye’ conversion, who knows what the fuck the prev owner did
look for a random switch or button in the cockpit
I had ted comeover (HeatW), and we took put a bunch of useless wires, I’m guessing that one of those was my switch!!! Yay!! lol
yeah what eve they were hooked to before they weren’t when i removed them haha
Lol man, I know, If i made it sound like i was your fault , I obviously didn’t mean it that way, I’m gald you took all thosegay wires out lol
pull out your headlight up/down switch (a nice tug will do) and check to see all the wires are in good shape as far as you can see. i’m pretty sure there is 1 or 2 relays for the motors as well.
I have taken the switch out a few times, and as far i can see the switches are in god shape, then a bit down there is 2plugs pluged into nothng, with tape and its mess, i don’t want to mess with it alot since im a noob.
well for starters. see if you can find the matching wires for the wires that were cut. they can’t be far away. just be sure you have the right wire. then tie them together and see what happens. blue wire with silver stripe and brown spots MUST go to a blue wire with silver stripe and brown spots. the wire should be 100% identical.
Kool, I’ll check it out whren the weather isn’t 100 % balls, my lights work perfect, so its not a huge deal, but i obviously want my lights to go down.
