i have a 91 se.can a 1997 ka24de tranny fit my 91 ka24de
my car is automatic the tranny that i want is manuel what do i need else to make my auto-manuel(i know i need the cluth assembly etc…)but do i need like the ecu or something?
dont even attempt to try it if you dont even know whats needed, i did one on my old CRX, what a bitch, takes a while, then you have to move your ebrake, set up a clutch pedal, run your cables and mount the cable holders, everything has to be done perfect in order for it to work, do it with someone who knows how, or get it done by a pro
dont let people discourage you. if you get the 240sx manual you will have no problems … except for benchpressing the tranny under the car and drilling thru the fire wall. took my friends and me 30 hours first try it and it was running good. + shopping . dicking around etc. its just labour intensive

first time doing a auto -> manual of course. so the difficulties and time purchasing items takes the majority of the time… but if u have 2 people who know what they are doing, w/ all the parts you can be done in a day

Not that I recall?
It took me 2 days to fully complete the swap but so far 3 months to finish the
wiring due to lazyness and the fact that there is no point in any of the sensors.
