Hey everyone!! Im new to NECC and this is my first post! I am a DIY’er and im having a little trouble with a diff swap. I am swapping my broken C33 VLSD with a 240SX SE VLSD… Everything looked like it was going well until I got the diffs side by side and I noticed my laurel’s LSD has a ABS sensor so its a little longer!!!
Soooo the 240SX VLSD is about 12mm’s shorter than the C33 LSD.
I am wondering if it would be better to get a spacer made to compensate for the 12mm difference between the propeller shaft and diff imput OR keep using my ABS pumpkin, and just swap over the internals?
If I do swap over the internals I need to know how to get the pinion out (the spiral gear attached to the propeller shaft)
Thoughts?
