S2000 guys, step inside

And there are junk yard 5.3 gm motors making 1000 rwhp doesn’t make it any safer lol

And this folks is a huge part of the reason why my S2k has sat under its cover all year. I cant wait to sell it and be done lol. Cant we all just get along??

You don’t drive your car because of people talking on a internet forum…

That is pretty fucking stupid.

I go away for weeks and come back to find this…WTH happened!!!

HAHAHA Oh man, not sure where to start.

A. I don’t put Ebay throw it together cheap as fuck what ever I can find parts to make my car turboed and expect 400+hp to come of it. I’m guessing most of the cars pushing the 400+ are ones with some money put into them.
B. I’ve changed my own oil on this car everytime I’ve done it, I’ve also changed the spark plugs now, I’ll be doing my own brakes, I actually do what ever work I can that doesn’t take some specialty tool to work on it, but seeing as you apparently know me… you know I don’t do any of that.
C. You never explained to me what seafoam does, I know what it does and its why I didn’t put it in my oil, or suck it through the intake… I placed it into my gas for a reason you appear to not know why. Maybe if you read a little further into this thread you’ll see the issues I described and then you’ll read what seafoam does and understand why its put in the gas.
D. Guess what, after working on my car yesterday (holy fuck I worked on my car) It actually has no lag in the throttle now, it actually does not bog below idle when you tap the gas peddle like it did before. But some how I’m doing things wrong.

And the best thing of them all:
E: My car still runs. Fucking mind blowing isn’t it. :bowrofl:

Oh and this comment… coming from a person that has a dead car, you are one to talk and point fingers about knowing a thing or two. Back to my last statement. I’m the only one that has touched my car in the 3 years I’ve had it. Never once has it been broke down and or given me major issues. Guess I’m doing something right.

Deebo didn’t have cheap “eBay” parts on his car. As far as main essentials to a turbo kit that I will give him that he did do his research for the most part and put good quality parts on it.

Lol @ at cheap Ebay parts. Please add up the parts I had into my car. I had more than what your car is worth in parts alone. How retarded are you ?

90% of seafoam is placebo effect. you dont think changing your plugs , or doing the other regular maintenance items you mentioned had anything to do with it ? Nope just the seafoam

Because running some oily junk thru your injectors will fix everything and definitely wont burn up at all as soon as it passes thru. and if it doesn’t it will just sit on top and pass the oil burnt smoke back into your intake because you probably have your pcv hooked up.

lol apparently not retarded enough to blow my engine. And that money got you far from the sounds and looks of it. Where’s the car now?

Edit: is this the only response for me? About price you paid for parts that…well aren’t doing shit now but sitting on a FS thread.

Upload a spreadsheet lol.

This kid is short a few chromosomes. Its not about what I spent on my car. He cant grasp the fact that people mod cars.

Maybe you should quit shitting on yambag for doing maintenance on his vehicle. Not everyone is cut out for extensive modding. Instead of tongue-in-cheek responses you should have just kept your mouth shut.

I’m not wanting to do anything other than N/A to the S. I’ve toyed with the idea of trying to get 300-350hp but I’m content with the engine lasting as long as I can without putting it through forced induction stress.

Maybe when I get a WRX I’ll look into getting more power out of the Subaru.

If you look at his post that started this, which I assuming you did since you responded to it  , all I asked was why was he seafoaming his vehicle ?

I still stand behind my previous comment using seafoam through the intake manifold should be regular maintenance and does help.

PCV system allows oil/carbon to build up inside the intake manifold/head.

I wasn’t going against what you said… just don’t feel comfortable doing it. I’ve heard people using it this way, just wanted to do the fuel first and probably break down the intake and clean it by hand. I just don’t like the fact of sucking foreign material not usually used in a vehicle, through the intake. But that’s me.

Stop by a dealership sometime…

Look for this

Its the way you ask it. Acting like I know nothing about cars, which is very funny to me. I’m sure I know a lot more than you’d ever expect, I just never need to rip things apart to fix them. Also don’t always have the time to do it.

I’m not an idiot to see that the last posts you’ve done after mine have all been sarcastic or trying to make me out to be a dumb ass. That would be the reason for my first response towards your turbo fail.

Will do. I know I’d do the spray if I did it myself. Just sketched being a touchy motor/precise motor.

oh come on dude, you mean to tell me this was a sincere question?

Yes, I was asking why he was trying to seafoam his car ?

Did I spot Yammy turning onto main today in Williamsville?
