So because the guy knows how to drive the car in the snow and rain, he still shouldn’t? It takes learning how a car reacts in certain weather to know how to drive that car. Every car is perfectly capable, its just the driver and knowing how to actually drive the car. This will be fine in the snow if that’s what you want to do. Yes you can get much better cars, but why when you love s2000’s and you don’t care if the body gets destroyed by the salt. I see people driving mustangs and Camaros all winter long… yes heavier but still RWD car. You adapt to it. Skurge drove his all year round this year with Sumitomo tires on it, did perfectly fine with the car.
As for clearing snow off… all you need to do is pull it off by hand or brush it off, you don’t need to get every drop of snow off the top. If its in a garage, you don’t need to clear any snow. Obviously if the driving is that bad, he probably drives something else or doesn’t go anywhere because well… its bad out.
Why do people drive Ferrari’s and other highend cars in the snow?

Most people with lambos/whatever drive around in the snow for humor and they have the money so whatever…I’m also sure most people who do this don’t do it with convertible ones.
It’s funny to argue this when we have people on here who take their Evos/STis off the road for the winter :lol:
This I laugh at as well. Also the ones that get lowered so much they cant take them out in the winter.
My subframe is 3" from the ground and also got literally stuck going through Delta Sonic the other day and I still do just fine in winter without a single hiccup with snows on a fwd car.
when I had my evo I purchased a $500 CRX for my winter car…
but more importantly, S2000s are miserable places to be when the top is up.

I wouldn’t say that. I love the car top up or down, doesn’t change how the car actually handles or anything like that.

For me I see a car as just that… a car. I would drive my current turbo S2k through the winter if I could get traction because I dgaf. I do understand how you can get nad at him for not washing it but in the big picture it still is just a Honda. They were in the 25 thousand dollar range brand new so there really is nothing to special about them. That is also why I beat the living shit out of mine every time I can

If you have a nice car and plan on keeping it for a long time I dont think you should drive it in winter especially if it is not above your means to get another car
