The ass cleaner is no match for me haha.
So the converter ended up costing just over 1100 and should stall around 5500rpm under boost. I can have it readjusted for free if it needs to be tweaked. I talked with the builder for a long time to gather as much information as possible and he said it will be close but will likely need to be tweaked a bit. I understand where he is coming from because it is not a build he is familiar with and to be honest I don’t really know when this turbo will come alive. I am guessing 3000-3500 so I need to make 200tq make that rpm then the converter will have to hold back ~500tq at 5000-5500 if all goes well I should have the front end off the ground by spring
I got the transmission back from competition about a month ago. I think it was about 2200 after tax and the reason for the high cost was the aluminum forward drum. the builder said I could probably get away with a steel one but they don’t handle really high rpm as well and the alum one reduces power losses so I said go for it, and before you ask yes it has a trans brake.
The big hold up now is the machine shop that has my engine. I will actually call them now and see how things are going.
