read my above reply… its not all boost… its timing as well… certain cars react differently to one or the other.
fuck re92’s… kumho ecsta 712’s… cheap as fuck and enough slip/grip to do what you want… you only need the rims… buy the tires separate.
Yeah, word brother.
Yeah, I know. Stupid tickets I can see, like sure front plate whoopy, tint yay!, speeding…I don’t really speed on a normal basis. But if I’m racing…peace out.
M3 :rofl
Bobby thinks he knows how to tune.
The ots map from cobb made my car do funky things. :Idiots
The McTune helped :number1
lol I know, I couldn’t imagine trying to sneak modding my cars:rofl My dad may not come to LVD due to him not having time, but that mother fucker will come watch the street races.:number1
Very true statement.
i heard ziex 912’s are pretty good in those categories too.
Chucks just pissed because my dads helped me work on my cars in the past. Today he helped me sandblast my spare valve cover. IDK WTF hes talking about.
Those the one’s Pharaoh Elbially bought?
depends on the version of the cobb tune you used… you could have had an issue with the WGDC (waste gate duty cycle) in the map and not able to hold boost or it may have been holding it too long… i dont know… i didnt datalog the car. either way, im glad justins tune get the car straightened out enough for it to perform SEMI normal. still a 92mph trap is weksos. launch the fuckin pants off that thing, and beat it like it was a downtown albany hooker who wont put out. i guarantee with a good launch alone you will pick up 3-4mph in trap… then nail ur shifts… GUARANTEED 1375 or better if i whipped it a few times… (warning, not responsible for broken, cracked or shattered parts)
Ok so I sneaked modding my car for 6 months. You’ve sneaked things before. Sneaking is the same as doing something then telling people later by the way. Everything I do is out in the open now.
i dont like the cheap falkens… rt-615’s for me but not on a scoob… too sticky for chucks “glass” tranny… maybe toyo proxes fz-4’s?
I meant to ask…where’s the STI spoiler? Looks 100x better
Kumho XS ftw.
any CHEAP not overly sticky summer tire on stock 15/16’s for a wrx is what you want for the strip. you do NOT want the extra rotational inertia of a 17/18" rim especially trying to get that 3200lb fat fuck out of the hole “nimbly”.
this statement is referring to a stock turbo’d, stock clutch’d wrx… not one making 400+whp.
I replaced the little ball in the vaccuum hose and got the wastegate positioned correctly after the McTune. I still need to replace all vaccuum hoses around the turbo because some of them are very hard.
Bold is why you won’t drive it. :rofl
I’ll get good runs out of it, don’t you worry.
The next tires I buy (for the next nice car I get) will be Dunlop Direzza Star Specs. I fucking loved my Dunlop SP Sport MAXX’s and I heard that the SS’s are slightly better in every way (expect tread wear and price lol)
Gone and I’m glad. Traded that shit 2 weeks ago. I’m out of that phase. The car is what it is and isn’t what it isn’t.
…except for the carbon fiber STi logo’d side marker block off plates? lol
:rofl
you will learn eventually that CHEAPER is better for daily driving kramer. cheaper GENERALLY means harder which will mean longer life for the around town commute… cheap kumho’s grip on the highway just as good as a 300/tire pile of shit… dont blow your $ where it doesnt have to be…
