Why would I want a dual diaphragm clutch? This is honda application, 250-300hp max and a daily driver. Going to go with the Action clutch, but what’s the difference between dual and single diaphragms? Oh, I’ll be drag racing this occasionally, maybe 10times a year, and I don’t hard launch on the street.
hey man…I actually went with the action clucth as well as per advice from toda. I must say it has been fucking awesome. I believe I went with the 1ms which is the single diaphragm PP and a six puck sprung hub. It’s extremely streetable being a sprung hub and grabs like a motherfucker. I’ve done roughly 20 8k rpm 9psi clutch dumps on slicks and have had ZERO problems with this clutch. I’ve beat it and beat it and just fucking abused this clutch and it’s been perfect. Basically, it bites super fucking hard when you want it to, and can be street drivin all day long without a problem.
