Sirius Sporster 5 Radio issues: Low volume

The wireless (built-in) adapter is garbage. Soon after sat. radio came out, the FCC made them cut down the strength of their fm modulators because people in other cars were getting the signals and it was causing issues. Since then the wireless transmitters have been 100% useless. Hook up the wired FM modulator that you posted up along with the antenna adapters (elliot said he might have some extras. if not just get cheap ones from walmart or something). As soon as you do that, the sound will be 100x better. I can’t tell you how many people who refused the wired fm modulator when they bought sat. radio from us and within a few days came back to get it installed. It is a HUGE difference in sound level and quality.

The adapter you just posted looks pretty awesome. Looks like it uses the AUX input which will give you 100% digital sound quality and not have to worry about the antenna at all. And since most VW cig. plugs are constant power, its nice that is takes power off the radio to shut it down with the car. That is your best option if you feel like spending the extra dough.
