Well McDonalds doesn’t allow smoking, I’m pretty sure Starbucks doesn’t, and there are plenty of others. The point is, businesses are free to ban smoking right now, and plenty have done it. Go eat dinner somewhere that requires men to wear a jacket, and see if you can light up in there.
If I want to drink, and not be around smoke I have plenty of choices. If I dislike loud engines/exhausts, I probably shouldn’t go to PRP on a Wed night, but join the vespa club instead.
There are cabs you can smoke in, and ones you can’t. It works well now, I think anytime we can avoid new laws, we are better off. Just think of all the time and tax dollars that have already been wasted on this stupid issue.
People should let their actions speak for them. Don’t like the smoke in a cheap bar in the Southside? Don’t go there, go to a place that doesn’t allow smoking. Don’t like gas guzzling SUVs? Don’t buy one.
