Snowpocalypse '14-'15 - Now 13 Deaths

Bring it over to William St!

I bet you could get 200 per driveway with that thing

If you’re feeling spunky my inlaws are off of Two Rod.

I’d pay that in a heartbeat right now.

Might be a good idea to check your sump-pump float switches and make sure the discharge isn’t frozen solid in your down-time… 60° & rain Monday will be ugly

I’m actually on broadway and townline. I had to get it back, was a demo and still had plastic on the seats! brand new. That thing has plowed all of erie st, my street, townline and schwartz… Town of alden plow was on townline completely trashed in a ditch… No plows have been seen on my street or anywhere around.

Also… Make sure your roof vent is not covered in snow! I have an older furnace with roof vent, and had to get on the roof to clear the chimney vent. Furnace running with no vent is not good! Snow had the chimney covered by 2’

My grandparents are on William-Kidder off towline. Hope i can get over there late tomorrow or Thursday to shovel off the roof of there ranch.

Same here, kinda surprised still.

Yep. Iv been up since 3am when i tried to get to work. Im hearing rumor of UPS running full swing on Saturday :frowning:

Its not very rare for people to die shoveling their driveway. It’s just “news” this week because of the amount of snow.

I live right inside Cheektowaga very close to the Williamsville border but I’m just within the travel ban area. I did go out for a few errands today, nearly got stuck at Tim Horton’s at Walden and Union lol. But I suppose with as many travel bans as there are in effect, I can understand it. My sister called off of work in Hamburg today (lives in Depew) but wants to try to get in tomorrow. I’m hoping she decides otherwise by morning.

Do a lot of people shovel their roofs when it snows or just because we have a snow storm?

I got kicked out of Alden. Then I got stuck on rt33 a mile from my house

^^With 2 feet or more and with rain possible in a few days… Yeah.

I live in west seneca. It’s pretty shitty.
My dad was stuck in his truck from 11am-10pm trying to get a part for his plow. Bunch of morons out there.
Luckily he made it home ok after they cleared things out. He has diabetes and didn’t bring any food/water other than fruit so that was pretty stupid as well.
Idk wtf people think.
I shoveled a pretty big path for my driveway but I was still standing on hood high snow. Gave up and went back inside after that.

Peoples doorframes and windows are already blowing up into their house. I cant imagine the destruction that’s going to happen when it starts to rain. I hope its not worse than the october storm.

I was texting my buddy about this today, he lives in Rochester but his parents live in Hamburg. His Dad works for the town dept, said he’s been out working for 30 hours straight so far.

Since his Dad is always out during stuff like this they hired people to do their driveway and his Grandmothers driveway which is all on the same piece of property. You know things are serious when the plow truck gets stuck and then the rescue plow truck gets stuck as well.

wow this is so crazy, if anyone on here is in need of anything I am more than willing to do what I can to lend a hand. I have snowmobiles but last I knew they weren’t taking any more people in for it.

this shit happened to come peoples in Cheek:

*ignore me, my browser is gay and I cant do shit right now.

lost both of my plow trucks last night, got stuck several times throughout the night, dodged abandoned cars, pulled out another plow truck, got stuck trying to turn around, got free after about 30 min , made it another mile or two before losing sight of where I was and went into a ditch. walked to my shop from there since I was close and stayed there from 4am-4pm. only had fuckin jeans and some wet hoodys. then found a rotary phone since my phone died and hooked it up to a phone line and thankfully had a dial tone. heard roads were opened up from a highloader (im 400ft from road so I wasn’t about to check for the fun of it). so I found some garbage bags and towels and random shit and “geared up”. took me 25 min atleast to trudge my way from my shop to the road itself, then walked home today. I don’t even know where my dump truck is exactly or what its current situation looks like. had some other guys out using it, they buried it and walked to some house from there. this fucking sucks!
