I had well over a foot… At the end of my driveway.
Had no issues just plowing through it like usual.
it really was not so much about the snow that was suppose to be bad it was all the ice and well we got none of that.

It is “big news” for 90% of the people affected by it. This type of weather doesn’t mean nearly as much to us as it does to other areas.

We got 20" here in Chicago. This city will be paralyzed for a while.
I can imagine. It’s odd to see the live feed and have them freaking out. As I watch I’m thinking “I can see a 1/4 mile down the road behind the reporter, C’MON!” But you guys are getting what would be the equivalent of Buffalo getting 8’+.
I used the snow blower to clear the massive 2" of icy stuff we got and the sun is starting to make an appearance. I called my parents to make sure that the four horsemen didn’t get them in the middle of the night and drag them into the gates of hell like the fuck stain weather idiots were saying.
People around here are frantic. It is funny to me to see people freak out with snow coming down at 2-3 inches per hour. There are abandon cars left in the middle of streets… it is rediculous!
The mailman was doing a heater in front of my mailbox for 30 seconds, but thats about all the excitement for this morning…
What the hell station you watching? I never heard any of that.
