So beasts car was stolen last night...

Hmmm I would like the guy who pm’d you JDMek9GSR to pm me. I just want to compare notes on who robbed me a few years back. I went to court with them and have a phone book file of information on the fucker. Our justice system of course failed to do anything other than slap a known theif on the wrist. Guy had priors wtf!

Anywho. sucks for beast.

srsly? the guy who jacked those wheels?
wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

wow paging 99civic-ex get your dad on this asap.

I think it’s about time for a bait car.

+2 it makes me sick seeing good guys cars getting stolen that they worked hard and put alot of time and money into.

ughh, hide me in the trunk with a baseball bat.

That sucks. I’ll keep an eye out.

I’m sure the people who jack these cars are also on here time to time…

There is a garage down the street from me that has Hondas all torn down and swaps going on… JAM PM me if you want to know where that is. I will drive by today and see if I see it…

Until Buffalo gets serious about crimes like these I don’t see their “city revitalization” thing going very far. My brother in law bought into it a couple years ago and moved into an apartment at the corner of Elmwood and W. Delevan. When he moved in I told him I could take his stereo out which would probably save him the hassle of getting a new window put in. His exact words were, “you suburban people are just scared of the city. It’s not like that now”.

Two weeks later he was over at my house for dinner and I noticed the wires dangling from his dash where his stereo used to be. He had already had the window replaced. About 5 months after that his legally parked car was totally by some unlicensed, uninsured piece of shit that he’s still trying to get money from. His new car was the victim of a hit and run 3 weeks after buying it. It has various other dents and scratches from the fine scumbags of Buffalo.

A couple months after moving in his girlfriend went to leave and opened her drivers side door only to find some guy in the passengers seat ripping the stereo out. Lucky he just took off, unfortunately with the stereo.

The good news is they just put a deposit down on a 3 unit house in North Tonawanda where the owner lives upstairs and rents the two lower units. The wife and I checked it out this weekend and it’s a great neighborhood, nice little lawn, with more than enough room for the two of them.

I have a feeling you’re going to see a lot of stories like this as more people try moving to the “cool” city.

we can use my suburban. at least 2-3 people can hide in the far back, and have a trailer car full of people. this could work

You don’t need a baseball bat…you can just give them a good stern talking to and they’d never steal anything again.

amen. sad but true. its pretty economical now and makes sense. a mid 90s civic has a poor security system and has a resale value of almost 10k if its in good shape just has to be a target now.

Buffalo is such a toilet.

Carmelo? I know a Carmelo from the west side, I certainly hope its not the same guy. But he does own a white teg.

i work on the west side and will keep it in mind. also you may want to post up the liscense plate, i doubt it would still be on there but you never know

You never know. There was the moron who was driving all over Buffalo in an NYSpeeder’s stolen Escape like he owned it.

You are going to have crime and scumbags anywhere you go. Buffalo is really not any different than any other city when it comes to crime and theft. I have lived in the city for 4 years now, and my car was broken into twice, once it was my own fault for leaving shit worth stealing in plain view. My car was broken into just as many times when I lived outside the city though too. The difference being the city thefts were smash and grabs (probably from some crackhead looking for a quick buck) where as the suburb thefts were pre-meditated and they stole more things of much higher value.

Obviously as people are starting to move back into the city, people with money and nice things are going to be moving near people with lower income levels, and shit like that will happen. Factor in poulation density as well and the statistics speak for themselves. As these low incomes are displaced when the money moves in not as much of this kind of stuff will happen. I think many areas in the city are much safter than they were even a few years ago, so your brother was right. Is it completely safe or free from this crap, NO. The city isnt for everyone. I personally feel that the advantages of living in the city far outweigh the inconveniences living in the burbs.

^ Pretty sure that’s the same line of BS that convinced the b-inlaw to move to Elmwood in the first place.

I’m just glad he’s moved back out of the city because I had to fix his stereo and the damage from the hit and run. Look at where he is now I’m pretty confident I won’t be fixing scumbag damage anymore.

I agree (with Joe), in fact, in Atlanta, my friends that live OTP have had more crime than I have down town. :knockonwood:

Great if this were GeorgiaSpeed.com, but the majority of us are talking Buffalo and it’s suburbs.
